ABOUT THE ROLE

We are offering a Permanent position on a 8-day or 9-day fortnight roster negotiable for the right candidate at the Worsley Refinery, located near Collie. This role provides a flexible work schedule, ideal for balancing work and personal life. Reporting to the Superintendent of Maintenance, the Mobile Equipment Supervisor will lead a dedicated team to ensure maintenance activities are executed safely and efficiently. You’ll play an essential role in maintaining high operational standards while guiding a supportive and inclusive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership in Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities are executed safely and in line with statutory obligations and standards.

• Mobile Crane Operation Coordination: Apply your skills with coordinating mobile crane schedules, finding cost saving opportunities with smart, efficient planning and contributing to a well-rounded and dynamic maintenance environment.

• Dynamic Planning: Lead the coordination of complex, ever-changing plans with a proactive approach.

• Contractor Management: Develop strong relationships with contractors, ensuring high standards and performance.

• Team Development: Support your team with continuous guidance, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and fostering growth within the group.

• Leadership Accountability: Provide day-to-day leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with South32’s Leadership Model, while empowering your team members to thrive.

ABOUT YOU 

You will bring the following experience and skills:

• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor: Currently holds or can be appointed to the position.

• Qualifications: Significant supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Intermediate skills in SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Organisational Skills: Able to manage multiple priorities, solve problems quickly, and coordinate effectively.

Team-Oriented: You thrive in collaborative environments, focusing on empowering your team, maintaining a positive culture, and developing others.
