Mobile Maintenance Coordinator
Work Location: Solomon. Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth
Role overview:
This role will focus on supporting the Mobile Maintenance team in the safe and effective execution of maintenance activities and strategies associated with the truck fleet of heavy mining equipment at Solomon.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the front-line leaders, execution and planning teams
- Actively drive the elimination of live work and ITR initiatives
- Manage the mobilisation of service contractors
- Assist in the management of the MCORS program and on-site shuts
- Manage a small team of OEM specialists and machine inspectors
Education and Experience:
- Trade or tertiary education is preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance
- Strong leadership experience
- Contractor management experience
- Proficient in Excel, SAP, Anaplan and Word
- Key stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Work management and planning experience preferred but not essential
