Mobile Maintenance Manager
Work Location - Cloudbreak and Christmas Creek
  • Fortescue’s Chichester hub is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.
Roster: 4D/3R ex Perth
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet.
You will lead the fleet maintenance execution team and be integral in the new strategy development across the Chichester hub and identify business improvements that lead toward achieving sustainable green fleet management into the future.
Key accountabilities will include:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Fleet Strategy
  • Lead best practice maintenance execution of the fleet
  • Coach and mentor, the Long-Term Planning and Mobile Maintenance Supervisor team
  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders
  • Ensure planning practices are in line with business drivers and expectations
  • Working with mine planning to ensure equipment allocation is optimised and maintained in accordance with WOL plans
Qualifications and skills required:
  • Extensive experience in Senior Mobile Maintenance/Planning Management/Leadership
  • Proven capability in developing strong working relationships with internal and external
  • stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualification in Maintenance/Reliability Management, Engineering or Business is
  • highly regarded
  • Highly capable in budget development and management
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
