Mobile Plant Supervisor

CSA Mine is looking for Mobile Plant Supervisor to join the Underground Mobile Maintenance team. You will work in a team that is focused on safety, while driving to meet the plan. You will work in one of the world’s most iconic mining districts, which has the second highest grade copper mine in the country. 

In this role you will be responsible for :

• Ensuring a safe working environment for employees by correct application of maintenance practices and procedures and effective use of available systems
• Reviewing the maintenance status of all mobile plant and implement changes to servicing to achieve availability targets
• Monitoring the quality of servicing to minimise rework
• Ensuring all incidents and accidents are investigated in the agreed time frames and all actions generated are completed
• Monitoring variations of operational availability of equipment from agreed targets and investigate corrective actions to obtain improved performance
• Monitoring housekeeping and maintenance activities to ensure equipment and working areas are well maintained, safe and tidy
• Collecting information for mobile plant and assist in developing and implementing improvements to increase mobile plant availability
• Managing work activities to ensure budget targets are met

About you:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Previous maintenance supervising experience
• Experience with preventative maintenance procedures
• A high level of computing skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and SAP
• Self-motivated individual with a high level of initiative
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail and quality standards

Conditions

This is a residential position and is offered on 7/7 roster. Relocation costs and a housing subsidy will be provided to the successful candidate to assist in relocating to Cobar. CSA also provides Pool & Gym Reimbursements to our employees and their dependants.

Located an eight-hour drive to Sydney, nine-hour drive to Melbourne, and a quick three-hour drive to Dubbo, Cobar is a fascinating town rich in mining heritage and natural attractions.
