Mount Carlton Underground Electrical Supervisor

Macmahon Underground is seeking trade‑qualified Underground Electrical Supervisors who bring solid hard‑rock mining experience and the right safety mindset to join our Mt Carlton project just south of Townsville in North Queensland.  

The project will offer:

About you

• Trade qualified Electrician with a current QLD electrical workers licence
• Underground  Supervisors - must hold Communicate workplace information certificates (formerly S1, S2 & S3)
• Current G1 Safety Induction - Metalliferous Core & Underground
• Willingness to accept a statutory appointment relevant to controlling electrical work on a mine site (QLD frameworks refer to appointment by the Site Senior Executive for a person to control electrical work and written acknowledgement/recording)
• Underground hardrock mining experience 
• Valid manual drivers licence
• Current First Aid/CPR & Low Voltage Rescue (or ability to obtain prior to mobilisation)
• HV switching certification (preferred)
• Current work at heights
