Mount Owen Glendell Operations - Systems Coordinator

Mount Owen Glendell Operations (MGO) Mine located in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, 20 kilometres north of Singleton, contains the Mt Owen, Ravensworth East and Glendell mines. The integration of these operations enables all sites to use a single coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) and infrastructure at Mt Owen Mine.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Mining Systems Coordinator at MGO on dayshift Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Mining Manager, and as an integral member of the mining team, the primary purpose of this role is to optimise the performance of the mining fleet through the effective coordination of the fleet management system and dispatcher supporting functions.

Initially, you will liaise with department teams across the site with the goal of executing established contracts, coordinating and overseeing the implementation of the new Hexagon fleet management system.

Your proven relationship building skills will be complemented by well developed, interpersonal and influencing abilities.

• Extensive experience with Fleet Management including Hexagon, Modular, or MineStar is essential
• Advanced computer literacy skills
• 3+ years Open Cut mining experience
• Mining Dispatch experience
• Systems Engineer, Systems Technician or Contract Management experience
