NDT Technician

Force has an opportunity for an experienced NDT Technician to join our Forrestfield team. Working on a Monday to Friday roster.

Key responsibilities include:
- Analysis of all machine components for surface and subsurface cracks as per Industry Standard
- To compile reports of findings for customer departments and maintain NDT job files.
- Ensure that self and other team members always adhere to the Force’s Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan
- Ensure that all documentation relating to work is completed as required.
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence
- Magnetic Particle Testing (level 2 certified)
- Dye Penetrant (level 2 certified)
- Ultrasonic Testing - Level 2 certified (advantageous)
- High risk licence – Forklift (advantageous)
- Ability to read and interpret documents and compile reports and correspondence.
- Confident to speak effectively before small groups of customers or employees of the organisation.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude skills.
- Strong committed and focus on safety, with previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's.
