About the Role

This program offers a permanent position with BHP while you complete your 12 months of training to become a Production Technician. We have a custom introduction to Autonomous Mining and will provide all training on site and through reputable training organisations.

From commencement through to completion of your training, you will receive support from trainers, supervisors and colleagues to set you up for success.   Program Benefits:

About You

You don’t need prior on-the-job experience, just a genuine interest in driving and operating machinery. Together we will work to achieve your personal and professional goals.   Ideally, you will have:  

  • High commitment to safety, quality and procedure is a must
  • Strong desire to learn and a high level of enthusiasm to develop a range of new skills
  • Motivation to achieve personal work goals and objectives
  • Teamwork mentality to achieve results
  • Minimum of Open C class driver’s licence
