Nipper

Join the Deflector underground mining team as an EXPERIENCED Nipper and be an integral part of the crew, assisting highly experienced Jumbo operators at a shallow vein underground gold mine near Geraldton, Western Australia. This role requires physical stamina and forward thinking, allowing career progression for the right person.

About you 

• Previous experience in a similar mining role
• Ability to cope with working in a physically challenging environment 
• Set up headings for the jumbo operator
• Minimisation of jumbo down time by assisting with any repairs
• Assist jumbo operator with installation of bolts and mesh for ground support
• Unrestricted MANUAL Australian Drivers Licence essential
