The Macmahon Underground team are seeking Underground Nippers to work residential (bus in/bus out) from Kalgoorlie or Kambalda, on a 7/7 roster, to our Daisy Milano project

*** MUST RESIDE IN EITHER KALGOORLIE OR KAMBALDA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THESE ROLES ***

Position Details: 

• Attainment of necessary skills to assist jumbo operator as required
• Assists with face preparation for drilling
• Assist jumbo operator who drills holes for the installation of rocks, bolts and mesh
• Collect and deliver ground support consumables
• Assist with installation of ground support
• Collect and deliver minor maintenance consumables and lubricants
• Conduct minor preventative and remedial maintenance
• Remove all waste from work areas
• Install mine services and ventilation as required; and
• Record all shift report data correctly and on time (i.e. delays, locations, directions etc.).

Essential Requirements: 

• Previous experience working underground
• Current manual Drivers Licence
• Self motivated and energetic
• Sound planning and organisational skills; and
• Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre employment medical
