About the Role

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor the successful candidate will undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and liveability in our Community Infrastructure.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Undertake general preventative maintenance inspections of the village electrical equipment;
  • Contributes to the execution of non-process infrastructure maintenance activities;
  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development;
  • Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process;
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation;
  • Take a proactive role in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour;
  • Participate within the Housing Department to implement business plans consistent with site strategies / plans;
  • Monitor the Housing Maintenance work plan and elevate unplanned and non-routine activity or performance to the Supervisor;
  • Perform all aspects of planned, breakdown and shutdown activities in regard to housing maintenance;
  • Carry out system generated inspections.

Location

You will be working across our Community Infrastructure Portfolio in Mt Keith Camp Village on a FIFO arrangement, with 12 hour working days.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

  • A Grade Electrical License
  • Valid Australian driver’s license
  • Mix of experience in both Domestic work and Mining Operations
  • Computer Literacy to use the following systems - 1SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word
  • EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights (Desirable)
  • Catering equipment experience (Desirable)
  • Experience with Airport ground handling duties (Desirable)
  • Experience on pump maintenance on transfer station (Desirable)
  • A proven track record of safety management 
  • Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
