OCE Supervisor

Collinsville coal mine is located in the Bowen Basin, approximately 100 kilometres from Bowen in the northern part of Queensland, and produces thermal and coking coal.  Collinsville is a safe, dynamic and inclusive workplace that thrives on delivery and high performance. Reporting directly to the Mining Superintendent, you will be accountable for the safe and efficient delivery of productivity targets by ensuring appropriate utilisation of resources within your team.  You will be required to maintain a safe workplace, provide visible leadership and direct the Production team to achieve agreed KPI’s. This position will support the Operation in terms of managing resources effectively and working closely with Dispatch, Mine Services and Drill & Blast to ensure short-term prioritisation of tasks are identified and completed.  You will demonstrate a strong commitment to identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities and be accountable for the development of an efficient Production Team. As the OCE Supervisor, You will be accountable for the safety and health of all persons and equipment in and around the mining operation.

The successful applicant will be an experienced Supervisor with an Open Cut Examiner’s qualification. You will have extensive experience and knowledge of Truck Shovel mining practices as well as a thorough understanding of mine monitoring control systems. You will have a proactive attitude towards safety, strong leadership abilities and be a team player who thrives on collaborating with your team and leadership to improve the way you and the operation delivers value.   Extensive leadership experience in an open cut operation will be highly regarded.
