As Australia is a member of the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation & Development (OECD), 130 countries and jurisdictions, representing more than 90% of global GDP, have agreed on a new framework for international tax reform. This new regime impacts planning and decision-making across all of our assets and countries in which we have a presence.A Global project team has been established to help understand the impact, prepare for implementation and to identify opportunities for the group. We are looking for a Principal Advisor, OECD Digital Project (Change & Communications) to join our vibrant, diverse team on a contract opportunity reporting to the GM – OECD Digital Project, this role’s primary accountabilities are to:
- Prepare a change management program to support the implementation of the new OECD digital tax measures
- Drafting communications materials, including employee communications, key messages for leaders, project updates
- Providing communications support to internal projects focused on streamlining and systemising processes.
- Strategizing change communications
- Reviewing the existing internal channels (newsletters, social media, global channels) and provide recommendations on where improvements can be made to increase employee engagement
- This includes planning, creative thinking, and writing to deliver the right approach
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across countries, functions and hierarchies, while delivering within tight deadlines, with great quality and smooth implementation.
- Advising the Steering Committee and senior leaders with project wide messaging
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualifications in related discipline
- Experience in running large change management programs
- Effective influencing skills when engaging with senior leaders internally and externally
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated proficiency across a wide variety of audiences and constituencies
- Strong creative copywriting skills across a range of styles including media releases, speeches and social/digital content
- Experience in developing and executing communication strategies, for proactive initiatives and to manage issues
- Extensive experience in government or business in stakeholder management
- A wealth of progressive experience in corporate and media relations
- It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Demonstrated experience in project management and working through a global networked organization in achieving results.
- Strong analytical and policy development skills
