Office Operations Lead

Work Location: Perth - Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coordinate office teams including reception and mailroom. Coordinate office logistics to facilitate an efficient, organised office.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and provide support for their office requirements.
  • Proactively identify and rectify issues within the office, this may mean escalating to the appropriate team (e.g. facilities management or safety team) to resolve.
  • Ensure procedures for reception, mailroom and facilities attendant are kept up to date and implemented.
  • Liaise with building owners/managers and communicate with the wider business outcomes when required.
  • Prepare office related communications for office users.
  • Develop the team who report into this role and support a strong positive team culture.
  • Lead and develop the team in accordance with the Fortescue values.
  • Provide general administrative support to stakeholders with requests and general assistance they may require.
  • Follow office procedures in line with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Identify initiatives for the continuous improvement of the department and building ensuring they align with Fortescue’s sustainability values.
  • Work closely with the Facility Management team ensuring the buildings (Bennett & Fortescue Centre) and the equipment are well maintained and functional.
