About The RoleRio Tinto Iron Ore’s Rail Operational Excellence team located in Perth Operation Centre is looking to recruit an Officer Accounting Officer (LDA) to drive innovation and site initiatives to deliver additional sustained value in accordance with company safety, environmental and statutory requirements.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You will be in a front facing role with exposure to exciting streams of work.

Reporting to the Supervisor Delay Accounting you will be

  • Ensuring timeliness and accurate delay coding practices with appropriate level of data hygiene

  • Challenging delay code allocations with internal/external interfaces to ensure delays are assigned to the correct accountability groups

  • Working independently on smaller assignments to improve operational outcome

  • Adhering to government rules and regulations, company policy and safety requirements
