ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a permanent position on a 42-hour day shift roster at our Boddington Bauxite Mine, which is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

This position is a drive in drive out role with no camp facilities, however buses do run from Mandurah and Armadale.

As the Officer Maintenance Technical,you will be responsible for leading the coordination of maintenance activities to deliver safe, efficient and reliable plant performance across a defined area.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Partnering with production to align priorities and coordinate plant-wide activities
• Monitoring plans and adjusting priorities to improve delivery and reduce backlog
• Supporting planning and scheduling processes across short-term horizons
• Ensuring clear communication of plans, priorities and expectations to teams

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Building strong, collaborative relationships across teams and functions
• Communicating clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders
• Applying technical judgement to support safe and effective maintenance outcomes
• Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
• Coaching others and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
• Using systems and data to monitor performance and support decision-making

Qualifications for this position are:

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Successful completion of the Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor exam
• Current Western Australian C class drivers license
