ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent role, 42 hours per week, Day Shift / Night Shift Continuous Rosterat our Boddington Bauxite Mine, which is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

This position is a drive in drive out role with no camp facilities, however buses do run from Mandurah and Armadale.

As an Officer Maintenance Technical, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and reliable mobile maintenance outcomes by coordinating daily work and enabling the crew to perform at their best. This role is not specific to any production area. Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Review and scope work requests, helping ensure activities are prioritised and ready for effective planning and execution.
• Maintain accurate resource capacity information and allocate labour and equipment in line with agreed priorities.
• Monitor work schedules, communicate emerging issues and develop practical recovery plans when activities move off track.
• Support continuous improvement by providing input into maintenance strategies and ensuring completed work orders are closed accurately.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:  

• Experience in a heavy-industry mobile maintenance environment, with a sound understanding of maintenance activities and operational priorities.
• Confidence using SAP maintenance planning and scheduling functions, along with work management and resource planning systems.
• A visible and caring approach to safety, with the ability to identify hazards, reinforce critical controls and encourage safe work practices.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to set clear priorities, monitor progress and respond constructively to changing demands.
• Collaborative communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to engage effectively with technicians, operators, contractors and wider teams.
• A supportive approach to leadership, with experience coaching colleagues, sharing technical knowledge and helping others build confidence and capability

Qualifications for this position are:  

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Successful completion of the Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor exam
