About the Role

We are seeking diverse and talented individuals to take on the role of Officer Materials Logistics within the NPI Maintenance & Water team in Newman. The role is a dedicated resource to support the NPI Maintenance & Water team, working alongside the onsite Planner consolidating parts, creating vendor orders and reclaiming stock items required for Maintenance and Operations tasks.

Reporting to the Superintendent NPI Water, your duties will include:

  • Ensure planned tasks have the required parts by following, tracking and escalating delays with materials delivery.
  • Manage order confirmation and receipt of goods.
  • Manage items dispatch and return not used parts for storage or credit.
  • Stage parts and equipment for the maintenance execution team.
  • Manage consumable parts and PPE inventory.
  • Assist in developing, analyzing and reporting forecast demand for parts, components and vendor services.
  • Identify deviations of deliveries against orders and create remedial actions and reclamations against suppliers.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized workspace.

About You

Whilst mining experience would be great, if you have a background in logistics, supply, worked in a warehouse environment or have a strong administration background this is the next role for you!

You will be an engaged individual, who achieves results through working with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, operators and maintainers, has a strong attention to detail and organisational skills and demonstrates effective communication skills. 

Knowledge of 1SAP would be advantageous, however not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

C class driver’s license is essential.
