Our Payroll Team plays a key role in supporting our people and projects. You’ll work with skilled people who care about doing things the right way and contributing to our teams’ success.  

About the Role 

As a Payroll Officer, you will support the delivery of accurate and compliant payroll outcomes across the business. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will engage with stakeholders to help ensure positive experience for people and projects.  

Responsibilities 

• End-to-end payroll processing in accordance with legislative requirements and internal policies
• Ensuring salary disbursements are accurate and delivered within required timeframes
• Managing overpayments, recoveries leave administration and payroll reporting
• Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation
• Supporting audits, reconciliations, and payroll related queries
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve payroll processed and procedures 

What You’ll Bring  

• A minimum of two year’s payroll experience within the mining or a similar industry 
• Excellent numeracy skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience using payroll systems – Chris 21 experience will be desirable but not mandatory
• Strong working knowledge of the MS suite.
• Confidence in interpreting awards, enterprise agreements and relevant legislation. 
• Commitment to teamwork and delivery of high-quality outcomes

Role Details  

• Location: Macmahon Head Office – Perth (Near T2) 
• Roster: 5:2/Monday to Friday
