About This Role
Our Open Cut Operations at Tarrawonga has an exciting opening available for a Training Advisor. This role is accountable for coordinating, maintaining and enhancing training activities to support the site’s operations.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain a training database to identify employee competencies and areas for development
- Schedule training requirements and arrange courses as per the WHS schedule
- Determine cost effective training and coordinate training by external providers
- Assist trainer assessors on crew to ensure training is delivered in a consistent manner
What You’ll Bring
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, experience and qualities:
- Relevant work experience in a similar environment
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- Live local to the area or willingness to relocate (assistance provided)
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and strong commitment to workplace safety
