About the role
 

Reporting to the Training Specialist, you will administer the end-to-end training and assessment process, coordinate course scheduling, distribute training compliance reporting.

Key accountabilities –

• Support the training function to ensure effective administration of all training and assessment material and processes
• Integrate the site training schedule with the site planning processes to ensure transparency and visibility
• Maintain an accurate and account of all training, inductions and assessments conducted in the LMS
• Support the contractor onboarding process including liaising with contract owners, contract representatives and internal departments to ensure timely and effective contractor validations and site inductions are maintained
• All other training administration support as required to meet business needs

To be considered for the role, you should have:

• Certificate in Business Administration & Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and able to self-manage priorities
• Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

About Illawarra Metallurgical Coal

Illawarra Metallurgical Coal is a long term and leading coking coal supplier which operates two underground metallurgical coal mines, two coal preparation plants and a logistics chain.

Location

This position will be at our Dendrobium mine which is in the southern coalfields of New South Wales, near the coastal city of Wollongong and approximately 75 kilometres south and southwest of Sydney.
