The OHST Administrator is to provide administrative and operational support to the OHST team.

King of the Hills (KOTH) is the flagship operation of Vault Minerals Limited and one of the largest gold mines in Australia. After a significant expansion, KOTH now features a 7.5 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) processing plant, providing a solid platform for long-term production growth. This dynamic operation combines open-pit and underground mining, with exciting exploration activities driving the future. KOTH is located approximately 900 km northeast of Perth and 25 km north of Leonora, within the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

Reporting to the OHS&T Manager, the OHST Administrator is to provide administrative and operational support to the OHST team. This role ensures the efficient management of safety systems, compliance records, and reporting processes to maintain and improve health, safety, and training standards on site.

This position will be offered on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Maintain and update OHST documentation, registers, dashboards, and databases, (e.g., incident records, training matrices, audit schedules, inspection checklists, assurance reports).
  • Assist with preparing and distributing OHST reports, safety alerts, bulletins, meeting minutes, and presentations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of data into safety systems, (e.g., INX, Vault, Pronto, DCI, or similar) and produce reports and analysis from this data.
  • Support the coordination of field leadership activities, audits, inspections, and safety meetings.
  • Track training records, medicals, inductions, and licence renewals for all site personnel.
  • Assist in document control, ensuring Management Plans, procedures, policies, and forms are current and accessible.
  • Support incident investigations and hazard/risk assessments with documentation and corrective actions follow-up.
  • Promote a positive OHST culture across the site through effective communication and support.

About You:

  • Previous experience in an OHST administrative role within a mining, construction, or heavy industry environment.
  • Proficient in OHST management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with experience with training management and document control systems including INX, Pronto, and DCI.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
  • General understanding of the statutory requirements of the Western Australia WHS Act and Regulations.
  • Working understanding health, safety, training, and quality systems and procedures.
  • Hold a WA Driver’s Licence (manual C Class).
