About the Role
We have an opportunity for a self-driven, motivated Onboarding Coordinator to join our team based in Mt Keith, WA.
Reporting to the Lead Onboarding & Contractor Management, you will play an integral part in the onboarding of new starters to Nickel West operations and drive consistency whilst supporting line leaders with onboarding personnel.
You will also be responsible for:
- Coordinating of the New Starter Induction Programs including onboarding, scheduling inductions, and verifying mandatory inductions have been complete
- Providing technical support, governance and compliance to stakeholders, customers, and suppliers in relation to the onboarding process
- Airport meet and greets of new starters
- Assisting with check ins to village rooms
- Calling new starters prior to completing Perth inductions
- Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving any onboarding issues
- Utilising various systems to manage, govern, verify, record and report on training compliance
- Ensuring conformance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations
- Demonstrating an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development
About You
Using your exceptional communication skills you will have the ability to cultivate positive relationships and influence stakeholders at various levels of the business. You will be focused, institutive and action oriented, exercising your time management skills to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently.
You will also possess:
- Strong administration skills or experience in a similar position
- Interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Strong multi-tasking and organisational management skills
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment, and sustainable development.
