Operational Administrator - Rehabilitation

Newlands Coal is looking for a motivated Operational Administrator to join our Rehabilitation Team. Operating as an Open Cut Mine until February 2023, we have now finished coal production and are progressing ahead to new and exciting times. We strive to be industry leaders as we transition to be Queensland’s largest rehabilitation project.

Reporting to the Rehabilitation Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide efficient administration and business coordination support to the Rehabilitation Department.

Working closely with the Manager, Superintendents, Supervisors and support functions, you will be responsible for coordinating & maintaining workforce administration, procurement, departmental reporting, safety governance, quality records and business systems that support day-to-day operations.

The role:

• Coordinate production administration, including workforce, contractor, procurement, cost, meeting and records workflows.
• Support Governance and compliance through SHMS document control, audit coordination, action tracking and register management.
• Coordinate quality and closure assurance records.
• Support operational reporting through data validation and dashboard maintenance.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in operational administration, coordination or business support.
• Strong organisational skills and accurate records management across competing priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office and electronic document management systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication across operational and support teams.
• Experience using SAP, Damstra, SharePoint, CMO, MineOps, BluePipe or equivalent systems.
• Experience within mining, civil construction or heavy industry (desirable).
