ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position working a 9-day fortnight roster DIDO from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.

As the Operations Assurance Specialist you will besupporting the department in meeting the minimum required standards while consistently improving all relevant Processes, Systems & Practices to ensure the safe and sustainable delivery of the Business Plan & relevant performance metrics in the pillars of Risk, Safety, People, Production & Cost.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Support the delivery of the Assurance Processes for the Production Bayer Department.
  • Involvement in ISO 9001 processes and reporting requirement for Department.
  • Support Area engagement plan including communications, projects, rhythms and routines.
  • Supervisors and Safety & Health Representatives coaching (process and behaviours).
  • WA Dangerous Goods Auditing for the Production Bayer Department
  • Communication of the published documents to all the relevant stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU 

  • Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency.
  • Sound knowledge in the use of web-based tools, MS Outlook, WORD, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Data organization and storage knowledge (SharePoint Documentum)
  • Small project management including risk assessment and commissioning.

Qualifications for this position are:  

  • Specific experience and skills in and knowledge of the Department functional
    location is essential (minimum 5 years’ Operations/ Production experience).
