- Primary roster being Monday to Friday (8-hours days), with cover on shift when required of 3 Days, 3 Nights, 6 Off (12-hour shifts)

We are looking for an Operations Centre Support Advisor who will play a critical role in improve existing platform environments, apply agreed standards, governance, guidelines, patterns and tool, provide support and be key in proactively mitigating operational technology (OT) incidents to all information technology related issues from our iron ore Pilbara mines and control centre.
This is a great opportunity for a person with a general Information Technology (IT) background, great customer focus and communication skills. You will be key to mitigating production delays and know when to escalate due to your analytical ability. You will get to work with a wide variety of technologies and cutting-edge systems from IP radio system to Autonomous systems and have the opportunity to work on improvement projects.
Reporting to the Superintendent Technical Support and working in a dynamic collaborative environment part of our global Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Network Platforms Team.
What you’ll bring
- General systems administration and support experience in a Windows environment as well as exposure to enterprise server hardware, infrastructure, network architecture and topologies.
- Outstanding communication and customer and operations focus.
- Exposure to the ITIL framework and ITSM practices.
- Experience in domain management, scripting, automation tooling and solutions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise simultaneous faults and incidents.
- Sound troubleshooting, analysis, and the ability to “think outside the box” for workaround solutions.
