About the role

We have several new opportunities to join our Resource Development team as an Operations Coordinator to support a wide range of projects across the Pilbara.

The Operations Coordinator will be accountable for supporting the Operations Supervisor’s Team to achieve Safe Production of all field activities for each shift. Team Members include Field Assistants, Survey Assistants, Operations Coordinators and Hydrogeological Technicians. The Operations Coordinator will also be accountable for supporting the Contracts Supervisors to achieve Safe Production for each shift for our Resource Development programs including earthworks, geoscience drilling, geophysics, rehabilitation, hydrogeological drilling and test-pumping. This is a great opportunity for an individual with strong leadership and well-developed communication skills to work within a dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, and working 8 days on; 6 days off roster, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Strong background in safety, and people leadership roles
  • Technical experience within resource definition work, surface mining operation or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in the suite of Microsoft Packages
  • A current Australian driver's license
