Operations Readiness Specialist - Technical

Operations Readiness Specialist - Technical

Work location: Perth, WA

Roster: Monday to Friday

Key accountabilities:

• Lead development of operational systems, philosophies, and processes to ensure a safe, reliable, and low-cost asset is delivered by the project team
• Ensure operational requirements are considered and applied in all phases of projects
• Ensure asset management and maintenance requirements are considered and applied in all phases of the project
• Participation in risk assessment studies, HAZID, HAZOP, RAM study, maintainability, and layout reviews, etc. Identify risks and solutions and follow actions to completion
• Raises issues, remove barriers, resolve complex operational issues, and escalate to appropriate level when required
• Inform teams of the operational and maintenance requirements of Major Hazard Facilities (MHF)
• Prepare required reports and presentations
• Collaborates with transition to operations and onboarding teams as needed

Required Skills & Qualification:

• Working with and configuring the SAP PM module, including building master data and creating maintenance strategies
• Significant operational and/or maintenance experience in chemical/hydrocarbon processing or related industry
• Previous experience in Pre-operations, Commissioning and Start-up and developing new systems/teams
• Experience in renewable energy technology would be highly regarded
• Experience developing and implementing operational procedures and policies
• Experience in developing maintenance and asset management procedure and philosophies
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities
• Experience with regulatory framework for Major Hazardous Facilities (MHF)
• Excellent engagement and communication skills across all business levels
