Operations Readiness Specialist - Technical
Work location: Perth, WA
Roster: Monday to Friday
Key accountabilities:
- Lead development of operational systems, philosophies, and processes to ensure a safe, reliable, and low-cost asset is delivered by the project team
- Ensure operational requirements are considered and applied in all phases of projects
- Ensure asset management and maintenance requirements are considered and applied in all phases of the project
- Participation in risk assessment studies, HAZID, HAZOP, RAM study, maintainability, and layout reviews, etc. Identify risks and solutions and follow actions to completion
- Raises issues, remove barriers, resolve complex operational issues, and escalate to appropriate level when required
- Inform teams of the operational and maintenance requirements of Major Hazard Facilities (MHF)
- Prepare required reports and presentations
- Collaborates with transition to operations and onboarding teams as needed
Required Skills & Qualification:
- Working with and configuring the SAP PM module, including building master data and creating maintenance strategies
- Significant operational and/or maintenance experience in chemical/hydrocarbon processing or related industry
- Previous experience in Pre-operations, Commissioning and Start-up and developing new systems/teams
- Experience in renewable energy technology would be highly regarded
- Experience developing and implementing operational procedures and policies
- Experience in developing maintenance and asset management procedure and philosophies
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities
- Experience with regulatory framework for Major Hazardous Facilities (MHF)
- Excellent engagement and communication skills across all business levels
