About the role
The role of a Process Operator is vital to the success of our business. This role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, has the desire to learn and can demonstrate an unwavering commitment to keeping themselves and their teammates safe. We’ll provide full training, support, and guidance.

Every hour of every shift, your safety and wellbeing is our number one priority. We do the work only if it is safe, and we invest to make sure every member of the team has the quality tools they need to do their job.
Working in a strong team environment, you will be responsible for supporting our operational departments to ensure the safe and sustainable production of aluminium, through the operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment in conjunction with manual duties.
Supported by your Leaders, Crew and Training Team, you will, with training:
- Safely work with molten aluminium
- Preparing, measuring and adding raw materials
- Preparing, operating and monitoring furnaces, reduction cells and other site processes
- Following procedures and completing pre-task risk assessments
- Ensuring the plant is maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition
- Operating equipment
We offer a rotating roster, with a combination of 12 hr day/night shifts. This roster rotation means that you will alternate from a long week (60 hours) to a short week (24 hours). This provides you with every second weekend off, and in combination with a shorter work-week each fortnight, you will have the opportunity to balance your work and other commitments and spend time on the things that are important to you. Flexible work arrangements (job share) may also be considered.
