About the Role
Blackwater Mine are currently seeking experienced Production Operators to join our Coal Mining Team on a permanent basis working a lifestyle roster.
A commitment to zero harm, teamed with high work standards and respect for others is fundamental to our high-performance culture. These roles will appeal to those who are highly skilled operators in coal mine environment.
About You
In applying for this role you will hold a current Queensland driver's license and essential competency in Haul Truck Operations.
Experience in the following will be advantageous:
- D10/D11 Dozer
- Cat 6040 / RH170 Excavator
- WA1200 Wheel Loader
- Watercart
- Grader
- S1 S2 S3 Competencies
- Standard 11
Additionally, successful candidates will need to demonstrate:
- A strong commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace.
- Willingness to participate in a multiskilled and diverse team committed to ensuring the coal handling and processing operations support production and quality targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance for coal handling processes.
- Demonstrated compliance with mine safety procedures, SWI's SOP's and rules.
