Due to our ongoing growth, Macmahon are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced people to join the team at the "King of the Hills” mine located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia 28km north of Leonora. Macmahon have secured a 5-year Surface and Underground mining contract with RED 5 ltd, the mine will have annual production above 200kozpa, King of the Hills is Australia’s next major Gold Mine which will feature State-of-the-Art Technology 85% new plant and brand-new camp facilities.

We are currently seeking an experienced Dewatering Operator on a 2:1 roster to the Project with responsibilities not limited to:

•    Will be acting in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture, performance and ensures that the Macmahon’s core values are adhered at all times
•    Installing/moving and removing of poly pipelines, diesel pumping systems and associated plant (valving/control) for Open Cut Mining Operations
•    Scheduled inspections, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repairs
•    Maintaining a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures
•    Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in and out of the workshops and other areas
•    Demonstrating full compliance with the Participating and contributing to audits in the maintenance and production facilities.
•    This role will also assist the Shotfirers in delivering the Blasting schedule while maintaining quality and in line with budget.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in Dewatering Operation
•    Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (or willing to apply for one)
•    IT experience essential
•    Completion of secondary/high school education.
•    Certificate (PMBWELD301B) Butt Welding of Pipelines and Piping components in accordance with the Australian Guidelines
•    Integrated Tool Handler Qualifications/Experience (Desirable)
•    Competent in the use of the stemming loader is desirable
•    Knowledge of the use of explosive products is desirable
•    Previous experience with non electric detonation systems is desirable
