ABOUT THE ROLE

To safely execute production activities at an operation as per the schedules and work instructions. Operate on the physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by the Operations standards and operating procedure. All under the supervision of a suitability qualified operator

This role will be offered on aPermanent basis.

This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.  

As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie.  

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures
• Execute the production activities according to the schedule and only when competent to do so
• Understands the condition of the asset and the work required for the day
• Conduct personal risk assessment for task
• Follow procedures for tasks and identify improvements
• Maintain housekeeping to standard.

ABOUT YOU 

• Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency
• Current ‘C’ class driver’s license or C-A class drivers’ licence Demonstrated technical competence gained in power generation
• Eagerness to learn and develop required skills and knowledge in Operational environment
• Previous experience working collaboratively in a team
