Operator - Jumbo

Join the Ulysses underground mining team as an EXPERIENCED Jumbo Operator and be an integral part of the crew for a new mine in the goldfields of Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development stage of the underground mining cycle.

About the role
FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie
Family friendly 2:2 roster
Development mine with optimum conditions to excel
Great camp facilities including gym and swimming pool
Small crew with values-based culture heavily promoted
Camp located close to the town of Leonora 
$100 - $126 per hour (dependant on experience)

About you

• Read and understand Development Designs and memos
• Preform thorough pre-starts and report any damages
• Previous experience operating SANDVIK DD421 jumbo
• All aspects of development mining, including incline/decline and ore boring drive
• Drilling of all blast holes required for safe and efficient underground development to proceed
• Installation of ground support using Split Set Bolts and Mesh
• Mechanical scaling as required
• Complete daily planned inspection reports correctly 
• Install mine services when required
• Be proactive with specific role requirements relating to the mining cycle, ensuring minimal operational downtime
• Willing to undertake a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical
• Current manual Australian driver's licence
