Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Tailings and Water Operator/ Maintainer to join our established and dedicated team.

The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the water Borefields and Tailings systems.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining environmental standards in line with Company borefields and tailings licence obligations
- Planned and unscheduled maintenance of borefields, tailings and diesel pumps and generators
- Ensure maximum capacity & availability for Company water supplies and tailings facilities are maintained
- Monitor and regularly record borefields and tailings pump data to identify maintenance trends
- Monitor and maintain piping systems
- Understand and communicate threats to water and tailings systems
- Contribute to the effective implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System certified to ISO9001
This role would ideally suit someone with a diesel mechanic / fitter background.
You will also have:
- Australian Manual MR-Class Driver licence (essential)
- Telehandler Licence
- HDPE (poly) welding background
- A good Mechanical aptitude and understanding of diesel engines and pumps
- An ability to work unsupervised in remote locations
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work as part of a Team and foster Team building
