About the role
This is a permanent full-time role being offered on a 7:7 day/night roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Coordinator, you will monitor and control mobile equipment parts and consumables to ensure maintenance work can be executed as per work management processes, maintenance schedules and work instructions.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
• Check off parts as per requirements and allocate to machine groups
• Advise supervisors and stores of any missing/short/surplus parts
• Complete purchase orders for breakdown work orders
• Operate forklift in stores area
• Organise Airfreight with purchasing and freight company
• Actively participate in team results and process management meetings
About you
Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do, and you will have experience working in a Mining or Heavy industry environment.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
• Forklift licence
• SAP experience is essential for the role
• Current C class manual drivers’ licence
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment within a workplace
