About the role
Reporting to the Team Leader Production DCPP, this role will focus on performance, adjusting and carrying out maintenance repairs on the Dendrobium Coal Preparation Plant to support achievement of the business plan.
Other accountabilities include:
- Plant inspection and monitoring of the Coal Preparation process
- Carrying out sampling and testing
- Manual control adjustments
- Problem diagnosis and resolution
- Ordering spares utilising the SAP system to requisition items and equipment
- Carry out maintenance work and plant modifications to make the plant operations safe
- Carry out routine planned mechanical maintenance activities
- Ensure the HSEC standards are maintained by correcting equipment performance, auditing the process, and reporting non-conformances
- Carry out plant cleaning tasks as required

In addition, you will have:
- Experience working in process or manufacturing plant environment
- SAP experience
- Forklift licence
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical trade (Fitter)
Location
This position will be at the Dendrobium Coal Preparation Plant (DCPP) which is in the southern coalfields of New South Wales, near the coastal city of Wollongong and approximately 75 kilometres south and southwest of Sydney.
