ABOUT THE ROLE
These roles are offered on a Permanent basis working rotating roster DS/NS arrangement – DIDO to our Boddington Bauxite Mine. We are seeking Senior Mining Operators and Haul Truck Operators. The purpose of this role is to execute operations activities as directed and operate equipment in line with the production plan and targets for HSEC, cost, and volume and in accordance with BBM standards and operating procedures.

ACCOUNTABILITES

Primary responsibilities are to:

• Execute the production mining and/or development activities according to the production plan as directed by the Production Supervisor.
• Work with physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by the operations standards and operating procedures. 
• Adhere to defined standard procedures and apply safe work practices.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents and hazards.
• Assist to develop and enhance work practices and procedures. 

Leadership opportunities

• Minimum 5years’ experience in a similar role.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to work crew and peers, along with coaching and mentoring mine and ancillary mine operators.
• Assist to develop and enhance work practices and procedures. 

 
Machinery on Site:

Minimum 5years’ experience operating:

• Excavators – Hitachi EX2500 and EX2600 or similar
• Loaders – CAT 993K Wheel Loaders or similar
• Dozers – CAT D11 and Komatsu 475-5
• Graders- CAT 24/16
• Haul Trucks- 785 or similar.
• Water Cart- 785
