ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, as Operator Refinery Process - Shift, the purpose of this role is to safely execute production activities according to the schedule and operate the physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by HSEC requirements, the operations standards and operating procedures.
This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.

This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes – bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities. Discussion is open for flexible work arrangements to accommodate Mandurah, or similar, based individuals. As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. |
key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures
- Understand scope and competency required, SAP operation long text, job hazards and timeframe.
- Capture transactional data about work performed and any subsequent work requirements – eg SWI updating, planning etc.
- Follow procedures for tasks and identify improvements.

ABOUT YOU
- Holds Certificate III in Process Plant Manufacturing or a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an operator in a minerals/oil/gas process plant environment
- Has previously worked in a team and has contributed to projects
