About the role;

To execute operations activities as directed by the production supervisor and operate equipment in line with the production plan and targets for HSEC, cost, and volume and in accordance with BBM standards and operating procedures.

Location 

This role is based at the Boddington Bauxite Mine located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).  

Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night. As there is no accommodation onsite this is a DIDO position.

Accountabilities 
Primary responsibilities are to: 

• Execute the Production mining and/or development activities according to the Production Plan as directed by the Production Execution supervisor; Work with physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by the Operation’s standards and operating procedures; Adhere to defined standard procedures  and apply safe work practices; Assist to develop and enhance work practices and procedures.
• Review and update plans, equipment history and communicate status to appropriate parties; Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents and hazards.
• Complete all 1SAP transactions required of the role. 
• Provide day-to-day leadership to work team and peers, and capability to provide coverage for Production Execution Mining Supervisor as and when required.

Minimum Experience

• Technical: Significant exposure in the production mining and or mine development area. Requires detailed knowledge of activities related to operating mining equipment. Experience operating production face digging equipment and a range of additional earthmoving machinery.
• Demonstrated leadership behaviour 
• Operational: demonstrated contribution to work team and leadership behaviours; Contributed to projects.
• Meets defined behavioural and safety awareness expectations
