Organisational Development Advisor

With over 60 years of experience, Macmahon is a mining contractor with a unique capability of offering its clients surface, underground and mining support services.

Macmahon has an exciting opportunity for an Organisational Development Advisor to join our team at Perth Head Office or Brisbane City Office. Reporting to the Business Partner – Organisational Development, this role specialises in Talent, Capability and Performance whilst also having involvement in DE&I and Engagement initiatives. Day to day, you will find yourself working alongside a supportive team of HR professionals and business leaders to develop the best internal capability for our organisation. 

This is a great opportunity either for an experienced OD specialist or a HR generalist looking to transition into OD. 

The role 

• Collaborate with business leaders of their teams’ succession planning 
• Champion the delivery of our annual performance development cycle 
• Management of our Leadership Development program
• Talent management of our high-potential employees 
• Development and review of our capability framework and leadership standards 

The ideal candidate 

• University degree in Human Resource Management or similar
• Suitable experience in either Organisational Development or Generalist Human Resources 
• Knowledge of the prevailing Industrial Relations legislation
• Experience working in a complex, operational environment
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities, stakeholders and objectives 
• Experience applying a high degree of discretion and autonomy 
• Strong communication skills and dedication to confidentiality
