About the Role

In this role, you will contribute to the management and support of on site operational technology and systems.

Your responsibilities:

  • Remote health monitoring and break-in technology maintenance for autonomous mining equipment;
  • Proactive monitoring & event management to maintain critical Technology availability 
  • Provide break-fix solutions to restore production system availability following outages 
  • On call support.
  • Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions
  • Identify and contribute to automation of tools and processes to continuously improve both reactive and proactive activities
  • Apply broad knowledge and experience across multiple service lines to support the team's performance and capability development through peer support, collaboration, sharing of lessons learned and providing on-time feedback  
  • Embrace a high performing culture by taking accountability for your actions and performance, producing quality deliverables and always looking for opportunities for continuous improvement 

About You

  • Experience working with or troubleshooting operational technologies, including any of the below:
    • Digital Radio (e.g. Motorola P25, Tetra DAMM, Tait)
    • Microwave PTP and PtMP backhaul (e.g. Cambium, Alcatel Lucent, Aviat) 
    • Industrial Wireless networks (e.g. Cisco, Rajant's BreadCrumb, TropOs) 
    • Routing and Switching (e.g. Cisco, Alcatael Lucent, Juniper) 
    • Power Systems, UPS, generators and batteries in a telco / operational environment
  • Proven abilities to develop trusted relationship with a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Be a team player who cares as much about the team's success as they do about their own.
