About the Role

In this role, you provide technical expertise in the design, build and maintenance of industrial communications systems.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring day to day availability and maintenance of the TETRA Digital Radio System, FM Rebroadcast & RF Planning functions. 
  • Provides inputs and endorsement to short and long term Technology Strategy.
  • Translates user and business requirements into secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure solution architecture.
  • Engineers, configures and integrates quality technology infrastructure into existing infrastructure landscapes.  
  • Tests, deploys and commissions quality technology infrastructure.  
  • Leads root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues.
  • Plans, tracks the delivery of and manages a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes.  

About You

  • Technical Undergraduate Degree (STEM, Engineering) or Telecommunications Certification (Certificate 4)
  • Senior experience in Radio/Telecommunications Technology 
  • Qualification/Experience with management of Large TETRA Radio networks
  • Good experience in Asset Management - Strategic & Tactical Planning 
  • Proven experience in Mission Critical Systems end to end Management 
  • Good Ability to multi-task, with strong organisation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent ability engaging with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience in Capital / Operational Expenditure (Budget Management) (preferred)
  • Virtualised Environment Qualification/Experience is preferred
  • ITIL Certification is desirable
