About the Role
In this role, you provide technical expertise in the design, build and maintenance of industrial communications systems.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensuring day to day availability and maintenance of the TETRA Digital Radio System, FM Rebroadcast & RF Planning functions.
- Provides inputs and endorsement to short and long term Technology Strategy.
- Translates user and business requirements into secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure solution architecture.
- Engineers, configures and integrates quality technology infrastructure into existing infrastructure landscapes.
- Tests, deploys and commissions quality technology infrastructure.
- Leads root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues.
- Plans, tracks the delivery of and manages a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes.
About You
- Technical Undergraduate Degree (STEM, Engineering) or Telecommunications Certification (Certificate 4)
- Senior experience in Radio/Telecommunications Technology
- Qualification/Experience with management of Large TETRA Radio networks
- Good experience in Asset Management - Strategic & Tactical Planning
- Proven experience in Mission Critical Systems end to end Management
- Good Ability to multi-task, with strong organisation and problem solving skills
- Excellent ability engaging with a broad range of stakeholders
- Experience in Capital / Operational Expenditure (Budget Management) (preferred)
- Virtualised Environment Qualification/Experience is preferred
- ITIL Certification is desirable
