Paint and Blast Trade Assistant

Force by Emeco has an exciting opportunity for a Paint & Blast Trade Assistant. Dive into the world of abrasive blasting, protective coating, and heavy equipment painting! In this full-time, permanent role, you'll play a crucial part in keeping our operations running smoothly while sticking to our top-notch safety, health, and environment management standards.

The Offer

• Monday to Friday in our Mackay workshop

What is your day-to-day going to look like?

• Carry out Paint and Blast repairs and upgrade improvements to the Rental equipment fleet.
• Prepare earth moving equipment for repairs.
• Apply two pack systems to structural steel and machinery.
• Blast, prime and paint within job specifications.
• General housekeeping and yard clean up as required.
• Ensure that all works completed are in line with our safety plan.
• Monitor quality of all work performed.

What are you bringing to the table?

• Hold a Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Demonstrated prior experience with Industrial Painting & Blasting highly regarded.
• A high commitment and understanding of safety procedures and their importance.
• Current Working at Heights Certificate and High Risk Forklift licence highly regarded.
