We are seeking a self-motivated Painter/Blaster to join our Port Hedland Workshop. Working on a Monday to Friday roster.

Reporting to the Blast and Paint Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of abrasive blasting, protective coating, and heavy equipment painting whilst complying with our Health and Environment Management System.

Required skills/experiences & attributes:

  • A nationally recognised trade qualification.
  • Australian working rights.
  • A strong commitment to safety.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus.
  • Prepare abrasive Paint & Blast earthmoving equipment.
  • Previous work experience with Industrial Painting, Airless Spraying and Abrasive Blasting.
  • Carry out paint and blast repairs and upgrade improvements to earth moving equipment as required.
  • Apply two pack systems on structural steel and machinery and
  • The ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
