The APAC legal litigation team provide high quality, independent, timely legal advice on all issues having a material legal impact on the company. It manages strategic and material litigation and disputes, along with analysing legal risks including corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance aspects in a wide range of matters.

About the role 

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join the APAC litigation team. Reporting to the Regional Head of Litigation for APAC, you will also support the American and European litigation teams. The role will require the highest level of professionalism and discretion along with the ability to build strong relationships across all product groups and legal functions.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing the preparation of APAC litigation legal reporting and litigation case management
  • Maintain global legal hold register and issue document retention notices upon instruction
  • Gathering information, preparation of summaries of findings for the APAC litigation team.
  • Supporting work to perform large-scale eDiscovery tasks
  • Liaising with external and internal stakeholders including external advisors and witnesses
  • Drafting, reviewing, interpreting, and summarising complex legal documents
  • Maintaining confidentiality protocols and personnel lists for confidential matters
  • Document management including preparation and editing of correspondence and documents

What you’ll bring 

To succeed in this role, you will have: 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Be commercially minded with experience in engaging with a range of stakeholders.
  • Intermediate / advanced use of MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, able to proof-read and format documentation
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Continuous improvement mindset
