Managed by Yancoal, Premier Coal is the leading coal producer in Western Australia.  Operating an open cut coal mine near Collie in the South West of WA, the operation produces coal for the domestic market with contracts to 2030.

About the Role

The Parts Coordinator will be responsible for parts compliance for planned work.

• Coordinate with planners and warehouse personnel in the preparation of parts required for planned maintenance activities.
• Inspection and verification of all parts required for planned work.
• Staging of Maintenance parts for weekly planned work and upcoming projects.
• Management of direct purchase parts storage and facilitating parts return process.

Skills and Experience

• Mechanical knowledge would be preferred, a background in mining would be highly regarded
• SAP experience (preferred)
• Exceptional communication skills: a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and the use of internal databases
• A current drivers and forklift licence
• Commitment to safe work practices
