ABOUT GEMCO

Located on the tropical Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, GEMCO is an open-cut mine that is accountable for over 20% of the world’s manganese ore production. Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 Monday to Thursday roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.

As the Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting safe and effective maintenance by coordinating, consolidating and managing materials for planned works.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Consolidate materials and allocate parts for scheduled work
• Monitor stock levels and flag shortfalls or unused items
• Maintain material tracking tools and update Master Data
• Operate forklift & maintain clean, organised workspaces

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Working in warehouse or maintenance support roles within a team
• Managing time, meeting deadlines and prioritising effectively
• Building strong relationships and solving operational issues
• Using systems such as MS Office and preferably 1SAP

Qualifications for this position are: 

• Current Open Driver’s Licence
• Forklift Licence (highly desirable)
