The Position
We are currently seeking experienced Parts and Stores Coordinator to join our Maintenance Support Administration team in our Mackay office on a permanent full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be required to perform a broad range of administration duties including but not limited to the following;
- Raising and receipting purchase orders
- Attending to various invoicing queries including overdue accounts
- Reporting and recording defects into the system
- Proactive parts management by, invoicing, receipting and mitigating outstanding payments
- Liaising with external clients and providers
- Developing strong relationships to ensure ongoing business Maintaining equipment records and work orders
- maximizing on all parts sales which will involve liaising with client base
- Liaising with Procurement team for delivery of goods.
We are looking for
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a parts interpreter role preferable
- A 'Can Do" attitude
- Experience with ‘Cat Sis’ would be of strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Excel
- Demonstrated experience working in the Mining Industry or with Heavy Earthmoving Equipment
- Adaptable to change and willingness to accommodate a flexible approach to daily duties
- High attention to detail and drive to get things right
- Experience in maintaining records including training matrix's
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- effective communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and the ability to gauge importance / urgency of matters as they arise and make independent decisions on action to be taken
- Ability to work as part of team and support the objectives of the team
- Ability to work in a fast pace and team orientated work environment
