What you'll be doing?

The Payroll Manager is responsible for leading a high performing team of Payroll Professionals as well  as the payroll function, ensuring compliance with all policies, awards and enterprise agreements and legislation.

• Manage all aspects of the payroll function to ensure payroll is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor Policy and legislative changes impacting payroll and ensure compliance
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholder to build a centre of excellence within the area of payroll services
• Set team and individual’s objectives, targets and work standards, communicate these to the team and reinforce

What do you need to be successful in the role?

Qualifications:

• Business or related discipline.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a large complex payroll environment
• Ability to work across diverse categories and apply industry knowledge to proactive initiatives and problem solving.
• Experience managing teams.
• Expert in payroll Systems, processes, and associated legislation in all Australian states
• Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
