HR Superintendent - Underground Mining
As we continue to scale, we’re seeking an experienced HR Superintendent – Underground to lead the people agenda across the portfolio and partner directly with Underground Operations leadership
Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll lead a small team of HR Business Partners and an HR Officer, acting as the primary HR partner to Underground Operation Managers.
Alongside the Lead-Recruitment & Mobilisation, you form the HR leadership group for Underground operations
About the Role
- Leading and developing a team of HR Business Partners supporting multiple underground sites
- Acting as the senior HR partner to Underground Operations Managers, providing decisive, pragmatic advice across workforce, ER and performance matters
- Establishing clear role accountability, operating rhythms and repeatable HR processes across the portfolio
- Partnering closely with Recruitment & Mobilisation to support workforce planning, mobilisation and growth
- Overseeing investigations, performance management and employee relations matters in a high tempo environment
- Building HR capability that can scale with the Underground business as it continues to grow
- Perth Based
About you
This role will suit a commercially minded HR leader
- Significant HR leadership experience in mining or a similarly complex, project based environment
- Exposure to contractor side operations (or environments with similar pace and workforce mobility)
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- A proven track record of building team capability and building fit for purpose HR operating models
- The credibility, resilience and judgement to operate confidently alongside senior operational leaders
